Bernadette John
Bernadette John is director of Schools Advice Service, which helps parents to find school places for children with SEN. She was previously head of the SEN division at Good Schools Guide, and has worked on a voluntary basis for charities and local authorities supporting parents of children with SEN. She has counselled thousands of families on all matters concerning special needs, and has learned much of it the hard way as a parent herself of a son with SEN.
