Netflix’s Adolescence has made parents question just how much they really know about teen’s online worlds. Not just what they are doing but how they are talking, between slang and emoji codes, it can feel like a completely different language. In this short video Amit Kalley will help us understand how emojis, acronyms and hashtags are used by teens, highlighting concerning trends linked to sex, drugs and harmful ideologies and how as a parent you can spot red flags and ultimately open up safe conversations.
