Cityparents welcomes the NHS with free support for all staff

London, Monday 8th June 2020 – Cityparents, the organisation for professional working parents, today announces a new partnership with the NHS. Cityparents is giving the NHS’s working parents free access to its online programme of webinars, expert insights and perspectives, helping NHS employees to balance their professional and personal responsibilities during the COVID-19 pandemic, until the end of 2020.

The partnership has been made possible by Citi, the global investment bank, who will provide funding to enable Cityparents to strengthen its technical bandwidth, boost resource to deliver its online programme of content and deepen the expertise delivered through its webinar programme.

Louisa Symington-Mills, founder and CEO of Cityparents said: “Since the onset of COVID-19 and the closure of most forms of schooling and childcare, working parents find themselves under immense pressure. We are enormously proud to help the NHS in this way and delighted that Citi is helping to make it possible. We look forward to working together to support the NHS’ working parent employees over the coming months.”

James Bardrick, Head of Citi, UK said: “At Citi, we are committed to supporting our working parent employees as they manage their home lives alongside their professional careers. We know the heightened strain being placed on parents at the moment, and particularly our NHS heroes who are working industriously through this crisis and we are thrilled to be able to help Cityparents to support them.”

Cityparents currently supports over 20,000 professionals in corporate roles based both in the UK and internationally. Its programme of resources – all available online – curates expertise covering relevant parenting, well-being and career development topics. Content is shared through a busy schedule of expert-led webinars and written articles, as well as a popular blog and podcast series. Recent webinars have covered remote working, productivity, inclusive leadership, balancing childcare with work, resilience for working parents, managing family life under lockdown, home schooling and managing anxiety.
