Practical ways managers can support staff through personal challenges.

In this video, Charlie shares simple, actionable ways that line managers can respond when a team member opens up about a personal challenge— whether it’s menopause, cancer, mental health, or being a carer. Through practical tools and real-world insight into what employees truly need, Charlie will show how managers can create safe, supportive spaces even when they don’t have all the answers. The session is a call to lead with empathy, presence, and human connection.
