About Kayus Fernander

Kayus Fernander helps to run the Global Clearing Payments Business at Citi, working with top-tier financial institutions around the world.  A native of The Bahamas and now based in London, Kayus has embraced his role as a global citizen, having lived and worked in multiple jurisdictions and benefiting from a wealth of diverse cultural experiences.

As a Diversity and Inclusion Leader, Kayus has a passion for exploring intersectionality, given his lived experiences as a Black, gay man from the Caribbean.  He is a 2022 Stonewall Changemaker of the year, a longstanding member of Citi’s London Pride network steering committee and a member of Citi’s Roots Network for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Colour). Kayus is keenly interested in topics ranging from racial and gender equality, LGBTQ+ rights and visibility, financial inclusion and social mobility.
